Plasma Skin Tightening
As we get older the skin makes less collagen, so it starts to thin, crease and sag — around the eyes, along the neck, wherever it shows first. Plasma skin tightening firms it back up without a single cut. A plasma pen wakes up your own collagen-making cells, so the skin contracts, tightens and smooths over the weeks that follow.
About this treatment
It usually creeps up slowly. A little crepe around the eyes, a softening along the jaw or neck, skin that doesn’t bounce back the way it used to. That’s collagen quietly winding down with age, and it’s completely normal.
Plasma skin tightening, also known as plasma fibroblast, is a non-surgical way to turn that around, with no cutting and no scalpel.
We use a plasma pen, a fine probe held just above the skin that creates a tiny plasma arc. Worked in small points along the lines you want softened, it gently removes tired old collagen and fires up your fibroblasts, the cells that make fresh collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.
The skin around each point draws together and tightens on the spot, pulling everything that bit firmer. Over the following weeks your own collagen keeps building underneath, so the lift carries on developing.
It works best on fairer to medium skin tones. Deeper tones carry a higher risk of pigment changes, so we’ll always check your skin is suited to it at your consultation first.
There’s a short healing process to expect. Tiny dots form over the treated area and flake away naturally across the first week or so, and it’s important to leave them be. Results show almost straight away and then keep improving over about three months. For the firmest, longest-lasting result we usually recommend a series of three sessions, and results can last several years.
We’ll assess the area, talk you through what’s realistic, set the price to the area being treated and send you home with clear aftercare each time.
